I ranked the first Badd book pretty high, the second Badd book was okay but then it all went down hill. The third book was so bad that I skimmed it just to get to the end and I skipped the books in between because I was just not interested in the characters.I could not wait to read Xavier’s book. I knew it would be interesting and it was. It was a story with substance and kept me interested. Unlike the other books that were just so over the top with sex and I had no investment in the characters. After reading Claire and Brock’s book (3) I was done. By the way, Claire is the character that is just so horrible that I literally cannot even read the page she is on. Crazy? Yeah.Xavier was a such a surprise. I think from his first appearance it was clear that there were some characteristics that were “intense”. We knew it would take a special person to be able to accept all of his quirks. Harlow Grace, movie star, is that person. I had to warm up to her. I love the way the Ms. Wilder gave the story time to progress. Did not rush the happy ending. We got to see Xavier and who he is and how he has survived. ASD can be complicated to understand for those who are not familiar. I would recommend researching and then you will understand how great Xavier’s character was and true. Unfortunately, I’m done with the series. Just not my thing and kind of repetitive. Xavier is the baby of the family and the most intelligent, special, unique, yet somewhat aloof and reserved, of them all. He can be pretty self absorbed at times but quite insightful and resourceful when you least expect it. I was pretty much anticipating reading about Xavier after getting to know a little about him and his awesomeness from his brothers story and trust me.... I was not disappointed with his story, just sorry it had to end so abruptly.Harlow is an upcoming movie star and on a much needed vacation in Ketchikan Alaska to get away from the press and fans alike. There she met Xavier and her entire life is turned upside down with how he makes her feel and the way he looks at her and speak of her.There story was very emotional with a lot of revelations from Xavier that will have you so heart broken and in tears. Their sexual journey was exploratory, emotional, very tender and so intense in the way Harlow is able to get him out of his head and in the moment. The fact that she loves him for who he is and don't want or need for him to be anyone else but who he is..... Awesome.
